After uploading the above, I noticed the video I uploaded on November 16, 2024 had been mistitled The Idaho And Stockport Murders although the title on the video itself was The Idaho And Stockport Mass Murders. The view count was extremely disappointing but even so I was surprised no one pointed out the error. It has now been uploaded with the correct title The Idaho And Southport MASS MURDERS although I still refer to Stockport initially in the video. The only explanation I can offer is that I have actually been to Stockport but have never been to Southport. Also, that now they have both been convicted, Bryan Kohberger and Axel Rudakubana can rot for the rest of their miserable lives.

I was just about to direct him to a horrible domestic case when he said he was logging off. He uploaded another segment later in the evening. I think he suffers from tiredness a bit, having two kids to look after, but he is nowhere near as tired as me. I really don’t think I’m long for this world.

January 25: Over the past week or so I’ve been playing on Chess dot com – ten minute games, winning the vast majority. The first game I lost was with white, the Morra Gambit accepted. The second I lost was as black, the Morra Gambit accepted! I never used to accept it but declined it with N-KB3. I lost a few more not because I was behind but because if you don’t hold down the mouse right until the end of your move, you might end up giving away a rook or worse. It may be that one or two of my opponents have done the same thing. I’ve been winning most of my games on blunders. Last night I had a very satisfactory win after I blundered rather than my opponent. After a combination or just an exchange I offered a draw thinking I was a pawn up. In reality I was a pawn for a piece down. I offered a draw later but that was declined too after recovering a bit. I went into the ending with a bishop against a bishop and knight but managed to win it.
I played a great game today against a worthy opponent which I will upload here. I play as someone who knows strategies and tactics, not as a tournament player, something I haven’t been for well over a decade now.
January 25: The Adelaide Institute newsletter for June 2018 is still on this site but I have deleted the file (adelaide.pdf) from my hard disk because I kept getting messages from AVG telling me to scan it.
