The 3 Kingdoms Of Africa

1. Lesotho
2. Morocco
3. Swaziland

* The map below shows the 3 Kingdoms of Africa in 2000. Morocco is around 66% Arab and around 30% Berber, neither of whom are Negroes. (Black) Africans are Negroes. Mohammed al-Khamis bin Yusef bin Hassan al-Alawi ruled as Mohammed V of Morocco from August 1957 until his death in February 1961. Although he was the first Moroccan ruler to be designated King, the country has a long history of emirs (kings in all but name) dating back to 789AD.

Like many countries, Lesotho has a complicated history; it will suffice to say it was a Crown Colony until October 4, 1966 when it became a constitutional monarchy under Moshoeshoe II.

Swaziland is now known officially as the Kingdom of Eswatini although its former name is still in use. Swaziland became a Kingdom in the modern sense under Ngwane III who ruled from 1745 to 1780. It became independent from Britain on September 6, 1968 under Sobhuza II (1899-1982), who had the longest verifiable reign in recorded history.
