* Who said Jesus had sisters? Josef Blinzler for one. Blinzler was a German theologian and priest. The sisters are listed above in alphabetical order. If Jesus existed or even if he didn’t, there is some suggestion these were not actual sisters but cousins or other relatives. Some people allude to women as sisters as a form of address, for example a Moslem may address a strange woman as Sister in conversation.
