* English spelling of the above varies. Durgha can also be spelt Durga; she is also known as Durga Devi, Durga Maa, Amba Maa, Amba Mata and many other names. Lakshmi, known as Shri, etc, is also the wife of Vishnu. Parvati is the goddess of many things and is also the wife of Shiva. Saraswati goes by many names including Brahmani, Bharadi and Savitri.
