The 5 Innuyim Of Yom Kippur

1. No consumption of food
2. No anointing with oils
3. No sex
4. No washing
5. No wearing leather shoes

* The above are the 5 innuyim (sufferings) according to Goodman. Jewish sources give 6, classifying food and drink as separate. The Yom Kippur day lasts for 25 hours during which nothing is to be consumed at all, including water, but health concerns take precedence. No sex is rendered as no marital relations, but in Orthodox Judaism, sex outside of marriage is prohibited.
