Stud You Like It Again

This was a $5 + 50c tournament played on PokerStars last night. I was surprised there were only 11 runners, and I wouldn’t have played if I hadn’t thought late registration would result in 5 or at least 4 places paid. I’m glad I did though, because after a none too great start the cards all but played themselves. Probably I also had more luck than I deserved; heads up I was massive chip leader, and had a bit of luck there too.

The screengrabs below are all from the tournament and are in chronological order.

A hand from a tournament played October 17, 2012: Top straight first five.

A hand from a tournament played October 17, 2012: Aces full beats a flush; the guy who lost this hand is a class player, he made a very good fold at one point.

A hand from a tournament played October 17, 2012: The guy with back to back kings overplayed his hand.

A hand from a tournament played October 17, 2012: I was a bit late pressing the PrtSc button but you get the point.

A tournament played October 17, 2012: Winning the final hand with a full house.

October 17, 2012: Congratulations, you have won the tournament.
