Odds Against (American Roulette)

Straight up pays thirty-five to one,
And seventeen, cheval.
Odd, even, high, low, black and red
Pay one to one, old pal.
Three columns, each at two to one,
Eleven, any three,
A block of four pays eight to one,
So place your bets and see.

The best percentage bet of all
Is any even shot,
For if zero should come
You lose half your stake, not the lot.
