Scene: A street with many cars parked in it. It is busy, full of shops and has parking meters at intervals. A man pulls up in his car a little distance from a parking meter, gets out and locks it. He looks up and down the street and sees a policeman booking a car. He looks around again with a troubled look on his face, then snaps his fingers. He walks over to where another car is parked, grabs the parking meter by the pole, and pulls. A “pop” sound effect is heard. He carries the meter over to where he has parked his car and gives it a swift downward jab. It sticks in the ground. He takes a coin from his pocket, puts it in the meter, and walks off whistling contentedly to himself.
(Fade).
