A moment in time is all you were
As we passed in the corridor,
Made small talk and went our separate ways:
Me into notoriety;
You into momentary fame and then oblivion.
Now six year gone from this Earth,
Your face still haunts my dreams,
As does the same painful question:
Why you instead of me?
