2. Saint James the Great: Jerusalem, July 25, 44AD, beheaded
3. Saint Philip: crucified at Hierapolis in Phyrgia 3 May s4 (symbol: cross bot on which he was martyred)
4. Saint Matthew: Nadabah, Ethiopia, September 21, 60AD, killed with a halbard
5. Saint Andrew: Patras, Greece, crucified November 30, 60AD
6. Saint James the Lesser: Jerusalem, May 3, 62AD, beaten with fuller’s club (his symbol)
7. Saint Peter of the Apostles: crucified upside down at Rome, (symbol: the Keys of Heaven – with which he had been entrusted) *
8. Saint Bartholomew: Albanpolis (Derbent) Arenix: August 24, 71AD (symbol: flaying knife)
9. Saint Thomas: Myalpore lndia 3 July 2, 72AD speared (symbol: spear)
10. Saint Jude, Edessa: October 28, 72AD, beheaded
11. Saint Simon: beheaded at Swanirill, Persia. October 28, 74AD (symbol: falchion/scimitar with which he was martyred) *** check place, etc
12. Saint Matthias: Colchis, May 14, 80AD, stoned and beheaded with an axe (his symbol)
13. Saint John the Divine, died December 27, 100AD
