I read this book shortly after it came out but was told by someone whose name I cannot recall at an event I cannot recall that the author was basically a crank.
I hasten to disagree, more so than I did then. Lerner has stood the test of time while the Big Bang Theory is looking increasingly tenuous. At any rate, you can decide for yourself at no expense because the author has put the second edition in the public domain.
